What all is included in the service for a catered event?
Our standard package includes menu design and execution, professional service staff, set-up, breakdown and clean up. We provide all necessary serving equipment and disposable tableware including plates, bowls, cutlery, beverage cups, and napkins. For an additional charge, linens, glassware, silverware and china are also available.
Can we taste the food before booking?
We offer private tasting sessions for large-scale events and weddings. This allows you to sample our signature dishes and refine your selections with our chef ensuring the final menu aligns perfectly with your vision and taste. (Fees do apply - please contact us for more details and scheduling.
How far in advance do we need to book an event?
We respectfully request a 7-day notice for all catering requests. We understand that circumstances may arise where this may not be possible. However, if less than 7-days’ notice is given, every effort will be made to honor your request, but selections might be limited according to availability.
Are there any minimum order requirements?
Our standard minimum for full-service events is 25 guests. For smaller gatherings, an additional service fee will be applied.
Do you accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions?
Absolutely! We are experience in accommodating various dietary needs such as vegetarian, gluten-free, nut-free, and other specific dietary requirements as needed. Our culinary team ensures every guest enjoys a safe and delicious meal.
Do you offer customizable menus?
Yes! We love seeing creative culinary visions come to life. You are not restricted to ordering only what it is on the menu. The options are truly endless. We specialize in working with our clients to come up with menu ideas and creations that fit every type of event.
How is the pricing structured?
We quote every event with a per person price. The agreed upon price includes everything from the service to the food for each guest at your event. The price per person multiplied by the total guest count, is the total price you pay.
What is your cancellation policy?
For those clients that have entered into a contractual agreement, the deposit is non-refundable. If the event is cancelled within 7 days of the event date, the client will be required to pay the total amount of the catering fees. However, we are willing to work with you to find a reasonable solution when possible.
Are there additional travel fees for locations?
Events within a 30-mile radius of Englewood are included. For locations further afield, a modest travel fee is applied to cover logistical costs and ensure our team arrives ready to serve your guests with our standard quality.
Can we make last-minute changes to the guest count?
Final guest counts are required 7 days prior to the event. We strive to accommodate small increases up to 48 hours before, though we cannot guarantee reductions after the final contract deadline.
Are you licensed and fully insuranced?
Yes, Northmont Catering carries comprehensive liability insurance and workers' compensation. We are happy to provide certificates of insurance to you or your venue upon request for complete peace of mind. We also maintain our Food Operator's License with Montgomery County Health Department in which our facilities are randomly inspected twice annually. Furthermore, our staff maintains accredited food safety certifications as required by the State of Ohio to ensure food saftey is a top priority.
